If Whatsapp web won´t show videos in Opera web browser for GNU Linux probably could be a problem with libffmpeg.so file.

Then you need to download from the path https://repo.herecura.eu/herecura/x86_64/

the file opera-beta-ffmpeg-codecs-XXXXXX-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

where the XXXXXX are the number of available versions of the file.

Extract the file libffmpeg.so and put it in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/opera directory.
